Hirt Line Typ 1 — 1/4" System (5.8 mm)

The general-purpose Hirt Line system and the one most shops standardize on: 5.8 mm flow size on a 1/4" thread. Enough volume for most milling and turning work, small enough to route around a fixture.

The widest selection of the four, with 93 parts in stock: adapters onto pipe threads from 1/8" to 3/8" (straight, conical and undercut), metric threads M8 to M14, hydraulic fittings and ball connections for Traub, Okuma, Mori Seiki, Wenk and Loc-Line; basic elements from 19 mm to 1000 mm; round nozzles from Ø1.6 mm, multi-hole and 30°/60°/90° heads, ring nozzles and flat jets up to 35 mm wide; elbows, T-pieces, Y-pieces and flexible star pieces; ball valves, quick couplings, cap pieces and seal plugs; plus plastic nozzles where a metal one would mark the part. The 1-GS basic set gives you 220 mm of working line out of the box.

Read the Hirt Line guide for how to specify an assembly, or see Typ 2 (1/2") for flood cooling.
