This 5-flute cobalt high-speed steel roughing end mill combines HSS toughness with improved hot hardness for demanding material-removal applications. The chip-breaking roughing geometry is designed for productive stock removal in slots, pockets, shoulders, and side-milling operations before finishing passes. The center-cutting geometry also supports controlled axial entry, ramping, and pocketing when appropriate for the workpiece and setup.

The TiAlN Hard Coat is intended for improved heat and wear resistance in demanding roughing applications.
