This 10-flute high-speed steel dovetail cutter is designed for machining 60° dovetail grooves, angular undercuts, reliefs, and mating features. Its single-end, non-center-cutting geometry is intended for side milling after an entry path has been established.
High-speed steel provides toughness and resistance to chipping for general machining, repair work, and applications that benefit from a more forgiving cutting edge than carbide.
The bright, uncoated finish provides a direct HSS cutting edge for general-purpose dovetail milling and undercutting applications where an added coating is not required.
