This 4-flute cobalt high-speed steel tapered end mill uses a 30° helix and 20° taper for controlled milling of angled walls, tapered slots, pockets, molds, dies, and contoured features. The center-cutting geometry supports controlled axial entry, ramping, and pocketing when appropriate for the workpiece and setup.
Cobalt high-speed steel combines HSS toughness with improved hot hardness for applications that benefit from added heat and wear resistance.
The TiAlN Hard Coat is intended for improved heat and wear resistance in demanding tapered-milling applications.
