This 4-flute cobalt high-speed steel tapered end mill uses a 30° helix and 20° taper for controlled milling of angled walls, tapered slots, pockets, molds, dies, and contoured features. The center-cutting geometry supports controlled axial entry, ramping, and pocketing when appropriate for the workpiece and setup.
Cobalt high-speed steel combines HSS toughness with improved hot hardness for applications that benefit from added heat and wear resistance.
The bright, uncoated finish provides a direct cutting edge for tapered milling where an added coating is not required.
