Ground from solid carbide. This tool cuts 1/8" diameter, has 1/4" of flute and measures 1-1/2" overall.

The square end cuts a flat floor with a sharp corner — slots, pockets, shoulders and side milling.

The stub length keeps the tool short and stiff, which is where you get the least deflection and the best finish.

AlTiN is built for heat: stainless, tool steels and high-temperature alloys, especially with little or no coolant.
