Ground from solid carbide. This tool cuts 7/16" diameter, runs a 7/16" shank, has 9/16" of flute and measures 2-3/4" overall. The flutes are cut at a 25° helix.

This is a rougher: the chip-breaking edge form cuts the cutting pressure and breaks the chip into short pieces, so it removes stock faster than a finishing tool at the same power.
