DNMG is the 55° diamond-shaped turning insert, the choice for profiling and turning close to a shoulder. D is the 55° rhombic shape, N means 0° relief (a negative insert), M is the tolerance class, and G means a center hole with chip breakers on both sides, so each insert gives you four cutting corners.
ISO and ANSI codes name the same insert: DNMG 150408 is DNMG 432, 150412 is 433, and 150608 is 442.
