DCMT 070204 / DCMT 21.51, chip breaker BF, grade FM2553 — positive 55° rhombic turning insert.

1/4" inscribed circle, 3/32" thick, 1/64" corner radius. The BF breaker is the Finishing geometry: 0.002–0.008 ipr (0.05–0.2 mm/rev) at 0.02–0.06" (0.5–1.5 mm) depth of cut. FM2553 is a CVD (Al₂O₃) grade — tough substrate for heavy interrupted cuts in steel and stainless, heavy roughing in mild steel, and first choice for superalloys.
