2" maximum work diameter, 90° outside chamfering mill.
An outside chamfering mill breaks the edge on the end of a round part in one pass, square to the axis and the same all the way round. You size it by the work, not by the cut: this one fits over anything up to 2" diameter, and one tool covers every part size below that.
The cutting mouth opens to 2-1/8" with a 5/8" recess hole. The body is 2-1/2" diameter and 2-1/2" long, and it screws onto a 1-14 threaded shank, 3/4" deep.
High-speed steel, hardened for wear resistance. The grind is completely chatterless, and the tool can be resharpened many times — so it is bought once and kept, not consumed.
It needs a shank. This mill has no shank of its own — it threads onto a straight threaded shank. We stock 1-14 shanks in 1" shank.
