Ground from solid carbide. This tool cuts 5/8" diameter, runs a 5/8" shank, has 7/8" of flute and measures 8" overall.

The ball nose leaves a radiused bottom, which is what you want for 3D contours, fillets and mould surfaces rather than flat floors.

The extra length reaches into deep pockets and past fixturing that a standard tool cannot clear.

Uncoated, so the edge stays as sharp as it can be ground — the usual choice for aluminium and other soft, sticky materials.
