Ground from solid carbide. This tool cuts 1" diameter, has 3" of flute and measures 6" overall.

The ball nose leaves a radiused bottom, which is what you want for 3D contours, fillets and mould surfaces rather than flat floors.

The extra length reaches into deep pockets and past fixturing that a standard tool cannot clear.

AlTiN is built for heat: stainless, tool steels and high-temperature alloys, especially with little or no coolant.
