5/8" OD x 5/8" Shank OD x 5" LOC x 7-1/8" OAL 4-Flute Single End High-Speed Steel (HSS) Finishing End Mill, 30° Helix, Center Cut, Square End, Extra-Long Length, TiAlN Hard Coat.

This 4-flute high-speed steel (hss) finishing end mill uses a 30° helix and extra-long length construction for accurate, controlled milling. The square-end geometry is suited to finishing slots, pockets, shoulders, side walls, and flat-bottom features. The center-cutting geometry also supports controlled axial entry, ramping, and pocketing when appropriate for the workpiece and setup. The standard finishing geometry is intended for controlled sizing and surface-finish passes.

High-speed steel provides toughness and resistance to chipping for general machining, repair work, interrupted cuts, and setups that benefit from a forgiving cutting edge.

The TiAlN Hard Coat is intended for improved heat and wear resistance in demanding finishing applications.
