This 4-flute cobalt high-speed steel roughing end mill combines HSS toughness with improved hot hardness for demanding material-removal applications. The ball-nose roughing profile is suited to removing material from contoured surfaces, molds, dies, fillets, and three-dimensional features before finishing passes. Use an existing entry path for axial engagement unless the application has confirmed center-cutting capability.
The bright, uncoated finish provides a direct cutting edge for roughing operations where an added coating is not required.
