3/32" OD x 3/8" Shank OD x 1" LOC x 2-7/8" OAL 3-Flute Single End High-Speed Steel (HSS) Tapered End Mill, 30° Helix, Center Cut, 1-1/2° Taper, Bright Finish (Uncoated).
This 3-flute high-speed steel (hss) tapered end mill uses a 30° helix and 1-1/2° taper for controlled milling of angled walls, tapered slots, pockets, molds, dies, and contoured features. The center-cutting geometry supports controlled axial entry, ramping, and pocketing when appropriate for the workpiece and setup.
High-speed steel provides toughness and resistance to chipping for general machining, repair work, interrupted cuts, and setups that benefit from a forgiving cutting edge.
The bright, uncoated finish provides a direct cutting edge for tapered milling where an added coating is not required.
