Ground from solid carbide. This tool cuts 3/8" diameter, runs a 3/8" shank, has 1" of flute and measures 2-1/2" overall.

The corner radius takes the load off the weakest point of the tool, so the edge lasts longer than a sharp corner in the same cut.

AlTiN is built for heat: stainless, tool steels and high-temperature alloys, especially with little or no coolant.
