Ground from solid carbide. This tool cuts 5/16" diameter, runs a 5/16" shank, has 13/16" of flute and measures 4" overall.

The ball nose leaves a radiused bottom, which is what you want for 3D contours, fillets and mould surfaces rather than flat floors.

The necked long-reach body gets the cutting edge down into a deep feature while keeping the shank close to full diameter for rigidity.

AlTiN is built for heat: stainless, tool steels and high-temperature alloys, especially with little or no coolant.
