With no coating on the edge, these tools are as sharp as carbide gets — exactly what soft, gummy and built-up-edge-prone materials want. They excel in aluminum, brass, copper and plastics, and handle general steel work economically wherever coated performance isn't required.
Solid micrograin carbide gives far more rigidity and wear resistance than high-speed steel, holding size and finish through long runs. The square end cuts clean, sharp internal corners in slots, pockets and shoulders. The family spans a very wide range of diameters, flute counts and lengths of cut — from delicate miniature work to full-size roughing — so one uncoated line covers most day-to-day milling.
