37/64" solid carbide square end mill, TiCN, 4 flutes, 1-1/4" length of cut, 3-1/2" overall length.
Titanium carbonitride (TiCN) is the harder, tougher sibling of TiN, and this HTC family puts it on solid carbide square end mills. TiCN's higher hardness and abrasion resistance pay off in stainless steels, tool steels and abrasive materials where uncoated or TiN edges wear quickly. Its toughness also helps in interrupted cuts, where the edge takes repeated impacts.
These single-end mills are ground from micrograin carbide for rigidity and dimensional accuracy, producing clean slots, shoulders and profiles with sharp internal corners. With diameters from miniature sizes upward and a range of flute counts and cut lengths, this family is the pick when the material is the problem — harder, tougher or more abrasive than everyday steel.
For HTC carbide tools, coating service typically adds 2–3 calendar days when the uncoated tool is available. If the tool is not in stock, estimated time to ship is 7–10 calendar days.
Estimated time to ship is measured in calendar days, from order placement until your order is handed to the carrier. Carrier transit time is additional. Orders may ship sooner. We accept orders awaiting replenishment; please contact us before ordering if you need a specific shipping date.
